An Introduction to Cinderella Tales

Everybody has heard the story of "Cinderella." In fact, it is told all over the world. Long ago, cultures would pass their version of "Cinderella" to another culture when trading. The story would change a little or a lot, depending on the differences between the culture it was spread from. The story of "Cinderella" is originally about a girl who suffers from the abuse of her step-family. The mother has died and the father is either never around or ignorant. The heroine has a magical guardian that helps her reach her fondest dream.
