"Vector-borne disease" is the a disease caused by an infectious microbe that is passed on through a blood-sucking arthropod from an infected vertebrate to a vulnerable person by a blood-sucking arthropod.

Lyme disease
Lyme disease is carried by deer ticks mainly in the East and Midwest. These tiny arthropods are hard to notice and the bites are often overlooked. When untreated, the rash will increase and even appear on other parts of your body. If untreated, this disease may irritate in further months or even years, in the form of headaches, arthritis, nervous-system disorder and heart trouble. These effects may bother one for a lifetime and even hinder you.

Humane Granulocytic Ehrlichiosis (HGE)
HGE are also caused by ticks. Early symptoms are rash and flu-like symptoms like chills, nausea, fatigue and loss of appetite. Delayed treatment may cause injury to organs. In 5% of such cases, death is a result.

Rocky Mountain Spotted fever
Rocky Mountain Spotted fever can be caused by species of ticks commonly found on home pets and is a common reoccurring disease. Such may result in headache, fever, restless, loss of appetite and gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or abdominal pain. Skin rash may arise and infection may extend to the rest of the body. If untreated, the disease can result in central nervous system disorders, respiratory kidney or liver failure and in more extreme cases, death.

Malaria
Malaria is transmitted through anopheles mosquitoes which are present in tropical countries. Early symptoms include fever, chills, headache and muscle aches. If not treated well, symptoms may reoccur after months or years. Death happens in 2percent of the cases.

Dengue
Dengue fever are passed on to humans by urban Aedes mosquitoes, most commonly found in tropic areas. Symptoms include high fever, headaches, body aches, sore throat and a rash. The rash may not be obvious on tanner skins, Following symptoms include fatigue and weakness. Dengue fever can have severe effects like fevers, vomiting, headaches, coughing and abdominal pain.
