Climate Change
Harmful Gases
Global temperatures have increased by 0.6 degrees Celsius in the last 130years.

Sea Levels
Rise in global sea levels will result when the heat from the sun is unable to escape from Earth, causing the ice in the North and South poles to melt. This could result in flooding and higher sea levels which may consume the lower lying areas of the earth. Scientific studies have shown that a sea rise of 1meter would put 118million people at risk.

This diagram shows how much land would be consumed in the Nile Delta and cause millions homeless while destroying precious farmlands.

Vegetation
Change in climate would also affect the world’s vegetation zones. There would be modifications between grasslands and forests and may cause food shortage in certain areas which are reliant on one kind of crop. Many people would move from one place to another for farming purposes and could potentially result in over-crowding.

Pests and Diseses
A change in vegetation will offset the range of pests, bringing about an escalation in vector-borne disease levels. The profusion of hosts is affect by various physical and biotic issues and the changes in temperature would upset the life-cycle dynamics of both vector and pathogenic organisms (flukes, protozoa, bacteria, viruses), enhancing the potential transmission of many diseases. Scientist research shows that if our temperature increased by 3-5degree Celsius, there would be a sharp increase from 45% - 60% of the earth’s population in those exposed to malaria. This means 50-80 million more cases of malaria every year.

Extreme Weather Conditions
Global climate change will adjust the occurrence of extreme weather conditions; floods may results as from a forceful hydrological cycle, tropical cyclones may frequent as sea surfaces heat up, while heat waves would regular in midcontinent positions. These changes are influential to seasonal patterns of diseases and death rates.
