According to many Broadway viewers, Wicked is the favorite on-Broadway musical. In the year of 2004, Wicked won three Tony Awards, including prizes for Best Costume Design and Best Scenic Design. This show is family friendly; an award winning show, a musical, and a comedy! This musical is the based on Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz. It tells of how two high school teens become best friends, then enemies as peer pressure gets the best of each of them while growing up. "If every musical had a heart, a brain, and courage of Wicked, Broadway would be the magical place!" Richard Zoglin of Time Magazine said as Wicked came out. Since the actors worked so hard, they need a break sometime in the show so there is one intermission. The whole musical is  two-hundred sixty-five minutes (2 Hours and 45 minutes.)
