Manta Ray
Manta rays are the largest known species of rays. They can grow to sizes of 25 feet across, and way up to 5,000 pounds. Even though they are so mass in size, they only eat plankton and fish larvae because they are filter feeders. There are certain species of fish called remora, that attach to the rays. They do it to hitch rides and to eat leftovers of the rays food. For more information on remoras, go to the remora page.
