Clown fish Clownfish have a great relation with anemones. The clownfish hide safely inside the anemone. Also the clownfish protects the anemone from other small fish. This is helpful because a clownfish is a brightly colored fish, which gives it no camouflage. A clownfish may never go 15 to 25 cm. away from the anemone in a life time. They range from the warm waters of the pacific and Indian ocean. They are also found in the Great Barrier Reef. They are some of the only fish that resist the anemones sting.
