Secondary information mainly came from
1) Websites:
Wikipedia was not too reliable as a secondary information source because too many people were able to edit and change the contents of the webpages, and therefore we just searched for some very basic information on it. Yahoo! and Google are great search engines and we were able to access to many websites this way.
2) Books:
We think books are more reliable than webpages, but it is true that published materials get outdated very fast. Therefore we had to be "constantly viligant" and everytime we picked up a book, we would have to check its date of publication.
Similarities and Differences
What the similarity is between books and websites are that they cannot be trusted too much. Therefore we must learn to use our brains and judge whether we can wholly believe them. Websites consist the direct and actual information we want to have, while for books, we have to extract it after reading the whole book and this takes up a lot of time. These are the similarities and differences between websites and books.
