Introduction
Welcome to the Traffia web site. This site was planned, developed and implemented by students from Africa for Africa. The objectives are:
- Grow the level of experience for students in developing web sites and understanding the basic concepts of the world wide web and its uses.
- Promote awareness to african art and the diverse cultures in South Africa and neighboring partner countries.
- Distinguish between original African art and transformed art of this century.
- Display some examples from existing artists and new and upcoming artists.

The team Coach is Mr. Marius van der Walt, Director of ICt t St Mary's School for Girls.
A few words from Mr. van der Walt:
It is remarkable how interested and keen these students are and how imaginative they can be. When we initiated this project, they jumped at the opportunity. I certainly hope they enjoy the project and will participate in all aspects creating this unique web site and return next year to enter again. Through their diverse personalities this site will be the first of its kind for region and promise to be the start of a new information technology era in the schooling curriculum.
