Each member in our group had a job while working on the web site. First we compromise to a main topic of national currencies. This topic was somethhing the whole world could relate to and it delt with something the whole group loved, money. After chosing the topic we divided the task among each of us. Chase was the artist, he and Hayden created the layout. Savan's was the head of research, he gathered information and put the information into notefacts to avoid plagiarism. As well he told the others what to research and what are some good web sites to look at. After Savan, Chase, and Hayden finished putting the information in bullets he sent it to Bryce who was the writer. Bryce was to put the information that Savan,Chase, or Hayden sent him into paragraphs. While Bryce and Savan got the paragraphs done, Chase and Hayden worked on finding activites and interesting facts for the web site. Then the group added the pictures and links. After the pictures and links were set up we broke up into two groups. Chase and Hayden was to create the Introduction movie and Savan and Bryce was to add drop down menus and create the banner. Everyones job was important in creating our web site.
Hi, my name is Savan, and I was the head researcher in the National Treasurers group. My job as the researcher was to gather all the information and send it to Bryce who then paraphrased it all. As I found information I put them in bulletins and took at all the unnecessary words, this made Bryce's job much easier. The coolest thing to me was the drop down menu on the right panel of the web site. Competing in Thinkquest was a fun experience for my group members and me.
Hi, my name is Bryce, and I was the paraphraser and proof-reader for the group. I would paraphrase everyone's facts and make them flow better. I would also check everyone's paragraphs for grammar and spelling. My favorite thing about our web site is the the world map. I thought it was awesome being able to click on a section of the map and it bring you to the web page. Participating in thinkquest was my favorite project ever.
Hi, my name is Chase and I was the web designer in the group. I really did enjoy this thinkquest project. I really enjoyed designing my own web site with the team members. My job was to make a layout that everyone liked. I tried to compromise with everyone's favorite colors and ideas. My favorite part was making the introduction movie for the web site. If I could I would love to do this again.
Hi, my name is Hayden, and I enjoyed working on this project a lot, even though it was hard at times. My job was an assistant researcher so I did a little bit of everyone's job. I helped Savan research the information, Bryce edit the pages, and Chase design the web site. My favorite part was finding the animated pictures. I thought it made the web site look really cool. I really think this project was fun and I would like to do this again if I had the chance.
