Credit Cards and Debit Cards
Credit Card is the payment issued to a user. Unlike debit cards,
credit cards do not remove money from account after every transaction.
Instead, it lends money to consumer to be paid for later. As well, you
do not have to have the money in your bank account to buy goods and
services. Nevertheless, you do have to pay for the goods and services
later, when they send you the bill. You will also get charged interest
if you do not pay your bill on time. A credit card is about 85.60 millimeters
by 53.98 millimeters.
A debit
card works just like a plastic ATM machine. It withdraws money directly
form your bank account. The only way you can use the card is you have
to have money in your bank account. The benefits of this type of card
are convenience and security. It requires a pin number for security
purposes. Another benefit is you do not have to go to the bank to
get your money. You can ask cashier to take cash out of your account
and give it to you. Debit cards are useful when not having cash.
