The Nazi Party

The Nazis or National Socialism is the party Adolph Hitler led into the Holocaust from 1933-1945. The Nazis came to rise after World War I, sparked by the anger that arose from the Treaty of Versailles, which was assumed to be a Jewish conspiracy (Hitler's DolchstoBlegende or "Stab in the back Legend.") This led to the Nazi party responsible for the large genocide of Jews. Through propaganda, the Nazi's managed to change the State of mind of Millions to turn their backs against Jewish members. Nazism focused on other beliefs such as ethnic nationalism, racism, eugenics, anti-Semitism, anti communism and countless other theories that were key elements of true Nazism. The Nazi party described itself as socialist, while opponents used words like totalitarian, terrorist and conspiratorial to describe the party. The Nazi part weakened stronger after the Holocaust was ended and their leader, Hitler, overthrown. Almost all senior members fled Germany or were arrested. Even after all the suffering, through outcome of the Nazi belief, there are still people practicing Nazism today.

Organization of African Unity

Idi Amin Dada was born in the mid-1920s and died on the 16 August 2003; he was a Ugandan politician who served as the President of Uganda. Amin joined the British colonial regiment, the King's African Rifles in 1946, and advanced to the rank of Major General and Commander of the Ugandan Army. He took power in a military coup in January 1971, deposing (to remove from power) Milton Obote. His rule was characterized by human rights abuses, political repression, ethnic persecution, extra-judicial killings and the expulsion of Indians from Uganda. The exact number of people killed as a result of his regime is unknown; estimates from human rights groups range from 100,000 to 500,000. Despite opposition, Amin became head of the Organization of African Unity, a pan-Africanist group designed to promote solidarity of the African states, in 1975.
