Sant Antoni Sant Antoni is a traditional festival in Mallorca. It is celebrated on 17th January, but on St Antoni's Eve we do a lot of fun activities too. Bonfires: People make big fires in the streets or in the squares. Then, the demons go there and dance, jump and run around the fire. The fire simbolizes the birth of the sun and its strength.   Pet blessing: St Antoni is the patron saint of all animals, for this reason, the priest blesses the pets people bring to him.  The pets blessing is very popular in Mallorca, and this festival is celebrated in all the villages.
