Preventing Dengue Fever

There is no specific antiviral for dengue viruses even though researchers are working on various vaccines (1, 2, 3). There is no immunization yet for the disease. Anyone is at risk of dengue infection. Therefore, preventive steps must be taken in order to stop dengue from spreading. This task is not only for the local government authorities to carry out but to be undertaken by every individual too.
