Guo Xiang
Hi! My name is Guo Xiang. Joining Thinkquest is my way of showing the international community of what a 17 year old boy and a group of friends, who has absolutely no prior experience can do within 3 months.
It has been a tough journey for all of us. We had to learn the basics of web designing from scratch, and look through tons of sources to get the site done, while balancing between heavy school work and various other commitments. the heat is intensified just 3 weeks from the deadline. All of us were trying our hardest to rush out contents and finish the designs. It has been so stressful for me to the extent that I cannot focus during lectures. We have been through days of sleepless nights, gotten the chance to know each other’s strength and weakness, and tested the limits of our mind and body. I have also discovered a fact about life, coffee is your best friend when your working at 2am in the morning!
We may not have the best skills or the most experience, but we are still proud of what we have accomplished over such a short period of time.
In the end, I feel that it is the process of us learning to work together, making sacrifices that truly matters. I look forward to outdo myself in next year’s competition!
