Yoyoyo I am the graphics designer in our Fire team. (Rah!) Let me first introduce a little about myself in a few words. I am 17 this year and am currently studying in the senior high section of Dunman High School, Singapore. Computing is one of the subjects I am taking during my national examination and this is my first year of doing this 2-year course!
ThinkQuest first came as a surprise to me when we first stepped into our new classes three months ago. Despite learning the fundamentals—HTML,CSS at the start, our team was only formed at a later time, leaving us with very little time for site construction. Of course, implications were that we jeopardized our time for other school work ( =P ) But I had really learnt a lot during this whole process, be it content, people, personalities, temperament, ideals, or culture!
So how was it that people (…maybe just students) of such different aspirations and ideals come together to work as a team, to work towards one common goal? Answer: Through tolerance, perseverance, and having an open mind. I am sure I am going to miss the times our team worked late into the night together (sometimes missing sleep), to stay back after school every Monday to “chiong TQ” (: , to meet up at the hostel on Saturdays to “chiong TQ again” (haha!) , or to just plant ourselves in Computer lab1 and start “computing”. ThinkQuest had certainly been
An
Unforgettable
Experience !!!
