The Team

Monica:

I am 16 years old and in my junior year of high school. I am in the Math/Science/Technology program at my high school. I plan on attending Michigan State University after high school. My hobbies include dancing and hanging out with friends. I am on the varsity dance team and also dance at a studio. During my ThinkQuest experience, I have learned how to better work in a group and met some new people. On our website, I designed the layout and wrote the Theft page. I also know how to program in Java and HTML.

Dustin:

I am 17 years old and in my senior year of high school. I plan on attending Grand Valley State University next fall. I am in the marching and symphony band at my high school and I play the trumpet. I work at the local K-Mart. I enjoy playing Golf and hanging out with my friends. I am also in DECA at my high school and have competed in the district and state level for this program. While working on our Thinkquest project, I learned a lot about teamwork, and I worked on the Impact portion of the site.

Matt:

I am 18 years old and in my senior year of high school. I plan on attending Grand Valley State University next fall. I was a four year member of the Varsity Tennis team for my high school. I am also ranked in the academic top 10 of my class. I work at a local restaurant in my town, called the Office Pub. I am also in DECA at my high school. I have competed in the district, state and have qualified for the international competition.

Josh:

I am 17 years old and in my senior year of high school. I plan on attending Grand Valley State University next fall. I am on the Varsity Roller Hockey team for my high school. I work at a local pizza place, Oliver’s Pizza. During my ThinkQuest experience I have learned the fundamentals of html and it helped to greater expand my creative abilities.

Erik:

I am 18 years old and in my senior year of high school. I plan on attending Grand Valley State University next fall. I am in the Jazz Band at my high school and I play the trumpet. I work at my local McDonalds. During my ThinkQuest experience I have expanded my abilities in Photoshop and HTML.

Kyle:

I am a 17 year old junior at Romeo high school in Romeo, Michigan. I am a three sport Varsity athlete. I play Football, Basketball, and I run Track. Also I am in the Math/Science program at my school. My hobbies include playing sports, playing cards, snowboarding, and hanging out with my friends. In my experience with ThinkQuest I have learned to better use my time and how to communicate my ideas better to others. Overall this has been a very good experience for me and I can truly say that I am happy I did this project.
