Global warming is the increase in the temperature of the Earth's surface and oceans since the twentieth century and its continuing. The more it does continue the more Antarctica melts and eventually the sea levels will rise so much that major city's like London and New York will be under water. Little tropical Islands like Necker Island (Sir Richard Branson's private Island' will be totally covered in water so that no one will be able to live there. Also all the animals that live in Antarctica will die.

We can prevent global warming by using bio-fuels, driving less, going in planes less, using less electricity etc. You can find out more you can help fight global warming by visiting and joining charities or visiting global warming web sites.

Global warming may not effect us in our life time but our children may be effected by it and our grand children will be effected by it. We need to stop it now.
