Things in the Past

This page is separated into 3 parts to guide you through the racial problems encountered from the past to present, that gave rise to the need for multiracial integration.

Ancient Era: Sometimes totally forgotten, not many people realized the implications of racism during the ancient era. These first few examples of racial conflict; from the Greeks and Macedonians, to the Romans and Jews, deserve to be remembered for us to learn.

Colonial Era: As European powers took of, so did the Atlantic slave trade. The exploitation of about 15 million African and slaves would continue from the 16th to the 19th century. Also, the extermination of the Bushmen of the Cape of Good Hope in Africa took place during this period. Both of these events sparked of an era of racial conflicts.

Modern Era: Possibly one of the worst racial disasters ever to have happened, they remain etched in our minds and serve as a reminder of the importance of achieving multiracial integration. We would also take a short look at the Ku Klux Klan, one of the most feared anti-African American organisations of their time.
