Chisineu Cris is one of the oldest towns in the west of the country. The presence of the river Crisul Alb separates the town in two parts and it gives the posibility of practicing agricultural works
  This town was documentary attested in 1446 and was declared a town in 1968.
  Chisineu Cris is situated in the West side of the country, in the Walley of Crisuri, near the West Hills.
   The climat is continental moderate with submediteranean influences.

  On the North side of Chisineu Cris is situated the village Zerind, on the South side the village Nadab, on the West side the village Socodor and on the East side the village Sintea Mare.
