One of the Golden Animals. In 2007, out of only 80 to 100 panthers that still live in Florida, 14 were killed in car accidents. There are still more being born, but they might become extinct in the next few decades. They are native to the Florida Everglades. They are baige and they are about the same as a black panther (except, of couse, for the color). They are the state animal of the state we live in, Florida so we need to take action to preserve the population of this animal.
