The Baboon lives in Africa, and there it is considered a pest.  It climbs in the windows of homes and steals things.  They are endangered because of humans.  If they see these animals in their homes, they kill them.  Females are one half the males’ size.  They have brownish black fur all over their body except for their rear ends.  It is just pink skin.  They have a long tail.  Besides humans, they baboons’ wild predators are leopards and cheetahs.  Baboons weigh between 33 and 82 pounds.  They are 20 to 40 inches long, not including the tail.  Did you know? Baboons use at least ten different vocalizations to talk with other members of the troop.  Baboons are omnivores, meaning they eat both plants and meat.  Their group name is called a troop.  They live up to 30 years of age.  They live in groups of up to 60 individuals.
