Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China was built over many years, but there is one part of the wall in particular that was very famous. This part was built by Qin Shing, the first Emperor of China, between the years 200 BC to 220 BC. Little of it remains today. The wall stretches through China for a long 4, 160 miles. Before the Ming Dynasty, the wall was built out of stone and wood. Afterwards, men used bricks to find that the wall held up better.
