People Acting for the First Amendment: About Us

Ben V. is a senior attending Frontier Academy High School. Ben is an inspiring musician looking to continue along with his musicianship in college. Ben plays trumpet and is excellent at performing. He has played in the high school's jazz band for many years. Ben is also a peer counselor at Frontier Academy. He is also in National Honor Society at the school. Outside of school, Ben enjoys playing video games with his brothers, including group member Dan V.

Dan V. is a sophomore attending Frontier Academy High School. Dan loves to play soccer and basketball. Dan is a starting varsity goalkeeper for the high school's soccer team. He also gets and keeps good grades in school. Outside of school, Dan likes to listen to music and get together with friends. He has two brothers one of which is in the group of the ThinkQuest competition. Dan has many hopes in the future to become a professional soccer player. Right now, he is working hard in sports and school to get scholarships to a good Colorado soccer college.

Kourtney M. is a senior at Frontier Academy High School. Above all she is an animal lover. For thirteen years she has been fostering animals for the Humane Society and other rescue organizations. She is attending CSU in the fall and aspires to be a veterinarian for a zoo. She loves swimming and riding her bike in the summer. She is also the president of her school's branch of the National Honor Society, but is definately not a nerd.

Maggie B. is a junior at Frontier Academy High School. She loves to dance, and has been dancing at the Dance Factory in Greeley for 14 years. She likes animals, and owns a horse. In her spare time she likes to hang out with friends, go horseback riding, and dance. She loves to listen to music too. She had one older sister, but she recently passed away in a motorcycle accident. Maggie thinks that her group has done a great job working on their web page for the ThinkQuest contest. She is very happy with her team's progress and determination.
