Animation is seen as early as 30,000 BC. Cave paintings of animals and hunters depicted action in the form of motion. Many times animals were shown with more legs than usual, in an attempt to show the marvel of movement.
However, animation still had a long, long way to go until it reached what it is today.
The first attempts at animation were cave drawings depicting movement across cave walls.
Thousands of years later in Athens movement of horses running along the inside of temple walls were attempted. |
