Roller skating is a different word for inline skating, but it is the same thing. Roller skating is something to travel in or a sport. 

There is another way of way to skate which is called quad skating. Quad skates are those skates with four wheels beside each other. Two wheels in the front and two wheels in the back. 

Roller blades are four wheels that are  just straight. 

You can get roller blades at Wal-Mart, Academy and places like that that. 

Jean Joseph Merlin was the person who invented inline skating. Where it was first recorded was in London.
