This category is a special case study of the roles and responsibilities of men and women during wartime. Also, we will examine the detrimental effects of war on both men and women. War is a time of crisis and a period of chaos that will definitely amplify the differences and conflicts between men and women.

This article will look at the effect of war on the people, civilians and soldiers alike. Men are forced into conscription and many either die or suffer the psychological effect of war. Women, on the other hand, are raped in huge numbers. Another aspect which we will be focusing on would be the roles of men and women during modern warfare and how that has changed from the days of peace. - Women warriors in ancient times and mythology
Such women warriors are certainly inspiring. As much as male protagonists are featured in stories of the past, many stories of strong able-bodied women going out to war were not uncommon. Such examples would be the Amazons and the Joan of Arc, which are both points we will elaborate.
