INTRODUCTION:-

The height of the hills are compairitively lower than the mountains. In India the hills are distrubuted in North -East mountains and Southern peninsular hills.

A. North eastern Hills:- North eastern Hills are made up of Patkai , naga and Mizo Hills. these hills are mainly composed of strong sand stones.

B. Sothern Hills:- Southern Hills are in daccan Plateau.It has Annamalai Hills and Nilgiri Hills
