Life skill in Mathematics Through Project Based Learning
as a topic as part of the deliberations on the topic “Action Research”
in the 12 days in-service for PRTs held at ZIET, Mysore in May-2007.
After a brief presentation on the elements of Project Based Learning
given by Mrs.V.Meenakshi, principal, K.V.Mysore, the participants
Were asked to identify areas where they could plan out their work.
Based on the observation about learning and life skill of learners
Which have been listed here under the previous section, the topic
“Life skill in Mathematics” was identified and decided upon.In order to devise strategies and teaching-learning methods,
it is necessary to have a clear rationale and theory discussions to
support these learning experiences.
