Elizabeth Woolley says that MMORPG is dangerous and addictive by design, which is what she claims led to her son's suicide, "I think the way the game is written is that when you first start playing it, it is fun, and you make great accomplishments. And then the further you get into it, the higher level you get, the longer you have to stay on it to move onward, and then it isn't fun anymore. But by then you're addicted, and you can't leave it."

It means First Person Shooter. The player looks at the happenings of the game from the caracter's aspect in 3D. These games are usually shooting games and the player has missions to accomplish.
The multiplayer part of these games is really wide-spread and lots of people play with this part of the game. Even more and more children (between 10 and 13) play this. It is bad, because children can not recognize and can not absorb violent happenings, they draw only the brutality. But fortunately not everyone behaves like this.
Children grow accustomed to the brutality and horror as they play. After a while they think that it is normal and it can be very dangerous, because they might commit actions like what they used to see during playing. There are many people who play alone, but most of them play in clans.
Clan is a company, where players play together in a group against another clan (opponent) and help to each other.
It is an extraordinarily great entertainment. But it can be very bad, when the clan loses so-called "wars"(clan
wars) against the enemy many times in a row. There are people who take the game seriously. They should not do this.
Because it is just a game after all.
It's advantage is that a well-organized clan in a good working order can be effective in the team spirit and in
meeting new friends. The team spirit improves logic, what is really important for an adult person when real teamwork
at the workplace is necessary.
It's disadvantage is that a clan can cause game-addiction, what is really harmful to children, especially teenagers.
The person who becomes an addictor can not get rid of the pressure. That person feels that he/she has to use the
computer what he/she catches sight of. The addiction can be caused by the members of the clan, because they force
each other to play and the person does't have time to take a break because of them.
The game addiction is similar to alcoholism or drug addiction. The person can not notice that he/she is becoming an addict and it is really dangerous. It is too late when you are an addict. Practically there isn't a way what lead back to the normal life or you should have a really great willpower to do that and you will have difficulties. You can read more about this in "Solutions"!

The league members make meetings together too, or they take advantage of it by way of the internet provided of contact, too. (example: e-mail, immediate message sender services, league forums)
There aren't just simple online games on the internet, but there are game portals, too. These games and applications are mostly based on flash or java. Games can be played by groups, too.
