They believe in taking care of and being responsible for the family, the village, the tribe and the society. They also have a deep enduring reverence for the ‘Golden Citizens’. American philosophy lays emphasis on giving respect to oneself and others; it also asserts giving respect to the ‘Creator’ and all the things in the universe. The ‘American heritage’ always had a respect for the ‘Golden Citizens’ as they are the trendsetters for the younger generations. They have understood the fact that if the ‘Golden citizens’ are treated with honor and respect, the younger generation would also learn from them and they would also be treated with honor and respect when they reach that stage in life.
