Hi! We are the Hong Kong Historians. We hope that you have enjoyed your journey through Hong Kong so far. We think that you should have a chance to better get to know us. Let us start with our names. The group leader is Ritvik. Then there's Ryan and also Theodore. We're three boys who go to Lawrence Middle School. Through this page you can get to know the three of us a bit better by learning about our hobbies, likes, dislikes, and many other things.

Ritvik

I am the group leader for the Hong Kong Historians. I created the page called "The Opium Wars" as well as all of its links such as the Treaty of Nanjing and the Taiping Rebellion. I'm in the 7th grade Magnet Program at Lawrence Middle School. I give 100% on everything I do and I always work hard to find solutions to problems. I stay on top of my work and get it all done, but once my work is done, I enjoy playing basketball, reading, and playing video games. I also have a great sense of humor. Through all I have found out about Hong Kong, it seems like a great place to visit one day. I am very cheerful and always have a positive attitude towards everything. I never give up on any challenge. I am very amiable and I try to make friends with anyone I can. Some things I am good at are fixing or solving problems, working with others, and leading a group.

Theodore

I'm Theodore. I'm also in the 7th grade magnet. I did the 'Under British Rule" page and all of the links connected to it. I'd like to go see Hong Kong someday, but for now I reside in West Hills, California. I live in a two-story house with my parents and my cat, Django. My hobbies include street hockey, writing, and growing pumpkins. I dislike spell checking, doing homework, and raisins. I have a very creative imagination and I am able to react quickly in situations. I work well in teams both because I am very focused and don’t get distracted and because I can help solve disputes though compromise.

Ryan

Ryan is the third member of the group. He is responsible for the Modern History page and its links. Ryan is also responsible for many of the design features on the main page. He has a variety of interests including architecture and engineering. He enjoys collecting postcards and seashells. Ryan’s skills include designing pages. Overall, he is an interesting person who greatly contributes to the group.
