Whooping Cranes
Cranes in general are an important part of the economy of Nebraska as well as our fragile ecosystem. With a high number of 266 this year, whoopers are making their way through the wetlands and farm fields of Nebraska. Living in Nebraska, we often take for granted the importance of this species. Each year people from all over the world come to see “our” cranes and we would like to take you on a journey of what “our” cranes endure!
