Steroids can be a very addictive drug to use. Most people think they are only going to use this drug for a month or a season of baseball or football. Once you start useing them you will crave them because you want to get bigger or stronger.

There are many HEALTH HAZARDS caused by useing steroids.

Liver tumors, cancer, jaundice (yellowish pigmentation of the skin), high blood prsure, incressed LDL (bad colesteral), and decreases in HDL (good cholesteral) Are some of the effects of steriods. Other side effects include kidney tumors, acne, and trembling.

There are also BAD EFFECTS from useing steroids.

Bad effects for the men: Shrinking of the testicals, reduced sperm count, infertiblity, baldness, development of breasts, and increased risk of prostate cancer.

Bad effects for the women: Growth of facial hair, male pattern baldness, changes in the menstral cycle, and a deeper voice.

Bad effects for the children-teens: Growth is slowed down and puberty changes. This means there will be a short remainder of thier lives if they take steroids before thier main growth spurt.

Training the healthy way, eating the right foods, and working out every other day would be a healthy way to live. Road rage which can include mania, irritabilty, and violent agression is due to the effects of steroids on the limbic sysetms of the brain which regulates moods and emotions.
