We decided to make the web page as simple as possible so that the reader would not get "lost" in the content. Below we describe what programs we used.
We used Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 to help create the web page and Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 for editing the photos.
The game was created using MicroWorlds Pro and the Quiz with Intro in Adobe Flash CS3 Professional. The "Wordsearch" puzzle is an applet in java that we downloaded from the web page http://javaboutique.internet.com/WordSearch/.
The web template we downloaded from www.joomlaos.de, was free of charge and with GNU/GPL license. For the creation of our logo "Forest Fires" that exists on our header we downloaded from the internet the font Guevara from www.urbanfonts.com which is offered free of charge for non commercial projects.
We used Microsoft Office 2007 for our graphs and diagrams.
The pictures that are presented in the introductive video and portray Parnitha before and after the fire of 2007 are from www.snowclub.gr and are free to use. The image at the top of the site and the photographs from the link "The Forest Fire in our Home Town" were taken by the team members and the video showing the helicopters trying to put out the forest fire in Eleftheroupoli was provided by a team member. All other sources are mentioned in the link "References".
