Just think about it

A thrown bottle, an unrecycled piece of paper, the useless use of petrol for a car ride down town.
Do any of these things matter for you? Just THINK about it, do you ever consider these ‘insignificant’ wastes? At least 80% of the readers will say ‘NO’. But, in the end, why should we all care? ‘It’s just a piece of paper, isn’t it?’ you would say.
Well, be prepared to acknowledge the huge impact that these small gestures have on the environment and therefore, on the world we live in.
Take a thrown piece of paper for example. Did you ever THINK that a whole world gravitates around it? The planted tree, the cut down forest, the factory, the commercialization. Just stop a moment and think about the implications.
THINK about all the people involved, people like you… the trucker that drives the wood to the factory, the workers, the inspectors, the comerciants, the entire industry based on the ‘useless’ piece of paper.
For a moment, try to imagine all this ending… if you can. Because, for me, such a thing is practically unimaginable. And honestly, how could conceive such a world? A world with countless unemployed people, with alarmingly little natural resources, a of hunger.
The paper industry is just a link in the chain that makes our world go round. There will certainly be more than one industry collapsing, more than one chain lacking if we continue in this way. Think about it: the ultimate collapse. With a sick environment, or none at all, this collapse is inevitable.
Do you really want to get to this? Do you really want to destroy your own world? I guess not. Than stop pretending you are ignorant – you have no excuse left.
