The Smiley Face
Why?
                    The Real Smiley Face (it is true)      


    In 1964, the smiley face was made for an insurance company.  The company was one of Harvey Ball's clients. They wanted an icon that would motivate workers to smile, or be cheerful while working hard.


    Harvey made the smiley face in only 10 min.  It is funny because he made it and had no clue that it would be a huge hit through out the world.  The profit made from the original smiley face was only forty five dollars.  That money was the only money Harvey ever made off his famous creation.
