The teamMikeHey, my name is Michael. I am 15 years old and live in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. When I heard about this competition, I was extremely excited and immediately put my heart and mind into this project. I played an active role in writing up the information on the transmission of HIV, the introduction and, very importantly, what to do if one would contract HIV. Not only did I learn a lot from writing this research, it was also the first time that I tried out Flash. It was hard in the beginning, but as I got used to Adobe Flash CS3, it got easier and easier. I also had lots of fun designing the website with the other team members (my favourite being the JavaScript effects on the main menu). Thank you to all the organizers for giving me this wonderful opportunity. TimGreetings, my name is Timothy and I am 15 years old. I am currently in grade 10 at Creston College. Creston College is an amazing school situated on the lower South Coast of Natal, South Africa. I have thoroughly enjoyed my role in researching the replication, symptoms and statistics of the HI virus, it has been very educational and interesting. I have been able to use my skills and knowlege of the computer to help build and design our website, this has been great fun. I would like to thank ThinkQuest for the oppertunity that i have been given and the experience I've gained by entering this competition. AllyHi there, my name is Allison, I was extremely excited to be given the chance to join the team and enter this competition. With eagerness I did my part of proof reading and added a girls touch to the design of the web page, minus the flowers and butterflies. I am 13 years old, at Creston College and thrilled to have started my high school career on such a high note. SteveHowdy, I'm Steven. Like the rest of the team, I also go to Creston College. I am 14 years old and love sports. I prefer to interact and be more outgoing, so I took the task of creating the interview and finding people to answer them. I really loved doing this interview and also had lots of fun writing the information on the topic, "Effects of HIV/AIDS". I'm not very good at coding websites but I still gave my input on the website's design. I've learnt a lot from this website and would like to thank everyone involved for this wonderful experience.
