Italy
has many traditions. I will talk
about some of them here.
Christmas
Italians love Christmas! It's easy to tell because the X-mas
season lasts three weeks. Food is a big deal during Christmas. They
have a strict feast 24 hours before X-mas eve and eel for Cristmas eve
dinner. For X-mas lunch they have tortelini in brodo and Capone .
Italians give bags of dried lantils to they're
friends to remind them that they weren't always so fortunate.
Instead of writing to Santa or Befana they write
letters to they're parents. Befana is a kiond, ugly, old witch who
flies aruond giving presents to kids on Epiphany, Jan. 6.
