Hardware Requirements
The latest games that are being released have been getting more advanced which require more technology, making the hardware requirements hard to keep updated every year.
Any new game in development or is already out now requires a certain video card, amount of memory know as RAM(Random Access Memory) , CPU (Central Processing Unit), amount of space on a hard drive, and a DVD/CD drive. A video card gives your game that great detail, from details on a gun to the enviroment you play in. If your video card doesn’t meet the minimum requirements of a game it will not run properly or may not even run at all. The CPU is the brain of the computer. Without a CPU the computer will not function its also known asa processor. The CPU’s speed is now measured in Gigahertz(ghz). Most of the latest games now require at least a 2.4ghz processor or above to run the game. RAM is the second Important piece of hardware of a computer. It allows programs to be virtualy stored in memory. The more RAM your computer has the faster it will load programs and games and run more smoothly. If a game doesn’t meet the minimum requirements the game will run but at such a poor rate you will get aggervated. Another important hardware to have for your computer is a good sound card, the sound card allows you to have surround sound and gives a better sound in detail in the games so when you play you actualy feel if you were in the game it self. The final important piece of hardware is really important and you wouldn’t be able to play or install any games without it. Its called a CD/DVD Drive, without this none of your games will install so you wouldn’t be able to play them once you buy them. Since now games or becoming more advanced there taking up a lot of space on a cd/dvd drive so most games are being made onto a DVD so it will hold much more data and cost less to make, I would recommend buying a dvd drive since majoirty of games are going to dvds now.
