The more people we can inspire to get involved, the less overwhelming the issue of animal abuse will seem. We have the knowledge and the know-how and the resources to make the change. What we need to do is inspire others to become interested in the cause. Our team did that by running worldwide contests on two separate occasions. |

| First Contest:: Arts and Crafts Contest |
The purpose of our first contest was to stimulate the children's interest in the topic. We specifically asked children to submit anything they wanted to that addressed animal cruelty. The submission included poems, crafts, stories, articles, paintings, drawings, videos, cartoons, caricatures, and photographs from children around the world. The contests were announced in schools and in newspapers so as to reach a larger audience. Some newspapers actually did a story on the contest, in addition to listing the contest on their local town/city calendars. When local companies learned about our contest, they actually contacted us saying that they would like to donate prizes for the winners! Jazmyn's Closet, a company based in New Hampshire, contacted us saying that they would like to donate T-shirts as prizes to the winners; these T-shirts said, "Animals Make Your Heart Smile."
