| Donkey basketball is cruel to the animals. It is also dangerous to both the donkey and the human riding it. As donkeys don't do this naturally, they get frightened, confused, or angry and they behave unexpectedly as they do not know what is expected of them. Children have fallen off donkeys on hard school gym floors and have been severely injured. It is sad that people actually believe that playing basketball riding donkeys is fun and a money-maker. It is not fun for the donkeys. We should not abuse animals for our own selfishness. Remember, we don't need donkeys to play basketball. |
