Introduction

We have designed this website to raise and discuss information about whaling from both points of view, those who are for whaling and those against it.

In todays modern world there are restrictions on the hunting of some kinds of whales.

A lot of countries that do hunt have organisations to limit the amount of whales that hunters take out the water, this helps the whale population and people can still whale for theyre meat and resources.

 Some groups hunt whales for research like the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. There are also organisations that try to ban whaling completely like the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society who believe that hunting whales is just slaughter for no reason.
