L.E.D's are lights produced by semiconductors.  L.E.D stands for light-emitting diode.  These lights are used in digital clocks, traffic lights, Christmas decorations and even all of Time Square is all L.E.D. 
L.E.D's are a more environmentally safe product and more efficient lighting source.
