  Fine motor

A teacher has a big impact on the child’s behavior in class. Teachers should note that a child who suffers from attention defer site hyper activity disorder (ADHD) will find it  very difficult to sit still for an hour. Sometimes teachers don't understand how difficult it is for that child to concentrate  in the class room. There is a big correlation between learning problems and behavioral problems especially if learning problems are not addressed. Many children having ADHD also have learning problems. The teachers attitude should be that they accept that you are a child and that there are children with learning disabilities. Teachers should encourage other learners to respect those with barriers to learning within the classroom. All children can learn and all learners need support. Teachers should not compare children with each other (especially family members). Learners with low muscle toe should be identified within the first year of schooling. If the fine motor co ordinations is not developed properly the teacher can assist him/her with the pencil grip so that the learner will be able to write properly.  If a learner is not ready for that yet , the teacher can use thick crayons so that the learner can have a firm grip .
A puzzle is an excellent exercise for a learner with a low muscle toe as it is an effort to pick up the small pieces. Teachers must be able to give the learner enough support.
Children  needs to feel secure in your class; the child needs to feel that he/she is loved and that the child is part of a family and part of a school setup. So teachers and parents must not only focus on the child’s problems but also on what the child enjoys. Make sure that you look at children as unique human beings that are still in the stage of development. As human beings they all have their own personalities. Some of them have medical conditions that do have a significant impact on children’s learning abilities if they are not properly treated.
