The trio in Dayton, who had radiation sickness, all had marks to show their close encounter of the third kind. Although there is no one to witness the next phenomenon, they certainly leave marks that no one can fail to notice. Crop Circles have been reported since the 17th century but they haven’t been documented until the 1930’s. Crop Circles emerge when the stems of plants, like wheat, are bent but not broken. They also appear to be heated from the interior of the plant. The heat causes the plant to droop toward the ground. Some think that crop circles are aliens trying to communicate with us on Earth, and the markings are an extraterrestrial language. Others say that an alien spacecraft could have created Crop Circles. Crop Circles seemed to be increasing in numbers when more people heard about them. There were almost 200 reports between the first documented report and 1970. However between 1970 and today, more than a stunning 9,000 have been reported. Over 90% have been reported in England. Most of the remaining crop circles are most likely hoaxes. In fact, two men named Douglass Bower and David Chorley claimed in 1981 that they have been creating fake crop circles in the U.K. for several years. A lot of people insist that all crop circles are hoaxes because of the incident with Bower and Chorley. But they stated that they never took their operations outside of the U.K. Although most are in England, crop circles have turned up throughout the world. Another happening in the fields, although it is not a very popular theory, is Stonehenge was constructed by aliens.

Counterfeit crop circles can be easily made. Bower and Chorley insisted that their designs were created by using wooden boards and twine to lower the crops without exposing footprints. The two claimed that particular circles where not created by them when they were asked how they formed specific effects. But of course they could have certainly been lying.
