Angkor Wat is located in Cambodia, Asia. Did you know that it was listed as the biggest religious building in the world? Today, it is still used as a religious center for monks. The carvings and shapes of Angkor Wat are of the classical design of Khmer Architecture. It has several passageways, courtyards, and towers as well.

Oval Callout: Once again, our journey has been a success. Across the lake is Angkor Wat. It is unique because of its design, which is also known as the Khmer Architecture style. You can even see this religious temple reflected in the water! Come on! Let’s go and see it up close!

Built by King Suryavarma during the 12th century, Angkor Wat was devoted to Vishnu, the Hindu God. It also was the state temple and capital city of the king. In the 1400s, the temple was abandoned and left for the Buddhist monks. Its magnificent structure and breath-taking courtyards will be one of the most memorable experiences for anyone!
