In Christianity their is an old saying. One should believe as a child. If you take a child of any young age you will notice he will believe his parents. Yet be inquisitive.

We don't say that Scientists won't find the answer eventually to all of that which God has made. But that which God has set as truth is true.

Think about it this way...

If you were an engineer or an architect and you had a son of three years old, would your son understand everything you do?
No of course not, however as he grows and learns intellectually, he will eventually discover what you did at that particular time when you actually did it.
Question is, we are trying to understand something that God made. Not man. Do we know how or where God walks? If we don't even know how he moves around...

How would it be possible for us to understand in depth the things he created over 7000 years ago. And then even so, how can we understand Him today?

Do not think that God didn't consider this...however some will try and maybe in your trials you will find something that leads you to understand that you cannot be God.
You see in the Bible the devil deceived Adam with those words, and since then, those who have not come into repentance still try to achieve what their new master said they could be...
Man tries to be God in his understanding of the Earth. But we cannot even understand what happened to us as humans in the last 5000 years. And then I'm not talking physical attributes but history. We as humans can not even agree what happened year for year in the last 5000 years, and we want to explain what happened since creation. There is a simple yet good word for such behaviour. ARROGANCE.

First try just to believe, and then try to understand what God teaches you. And maybe in a couple of years you might have an idea how everything started out.

So as Christians, be humble, believe and be blessed.
