| Once in the middle of Malaysia there lived a king called Suddhodana and there also lived a lovely queen called Mahamaya. They lived in a small city called Kapilavastu in the sixth century.One sunny day in Kapilavastu the queen had a dream that an elephant had a lotus in its trunk.A year later the queen had a baby boy called Siddhartha. Some people that were studying stars gueesed that a child would grow up to be a amazing leader. The prince grew up inside the palace and never stepped outside the door. One day the prince convinced his father to let him go outside. When he stepped outside he could see all these people lying on the sandy floor and then all of a sudden he ran over and started giving advice. His dad was so suprised that he had a heart attack Siddhartha became a great king and he was called the Buddha. | |
