We have not always managed our planet well. Many natural resources such as the atmosphere, oceans and natural vegetation have been exploited or badly polluted. Often this has been in the name of progress and technological development. Here we present a variety of research projects done by our group members that investigated different ways to improve aerodynamics. By improving aerodynamics we can to some extent decrease the negative effects of our technology on the environment.

The first project is on rocketry; it is research into improving a home made model rocket.

(Pimp your Ride) Benjamin

The second research project is on cars; Benjamin used a model race car and pimped it up. This project aims to improve aerodynamics of the car and thereby reduce fuel consumption in the car.

(2 hot 2 sail) Nathan

The third project improves sails of a yacht to speed it up, again model yachts were built and tested.

The final project explores the aerodynamics of the wings of a model plane.
