Introduction

Most people think or beileve that rugby was established in 1823, when William Webb Ellis ignored the rules of football. He took the ball and ran with it , since then the element of the rugby game originated. The International commitee later established Rugby World Cup as ,"William Webb Ellis Trophy." This sport has become very famous, people pay lots of money just to view the game. Most of them do'nt really understand the mathamatical principiles behind the game, for examle a mathamatician would be more interested in the parabolic curve a ball follows when thrown, kicked ect. Or maybe to physist who would be very interested on the forces acting on the ball, which may be the air frictional forces, gravatational forces ect.
